Q: Do you actually sew the clothes?
A: Yes, I do! Over the years I’ve become too busy to do all the sewing so I have two local friends that help with the sewing but I still do all the cutting, snapping and some of the sewing.
Q: How do I wash the clothing?
A: Wash in warm water and dry in the dryer. Of course, air drying is always a better option for the longevity of the garment but bamboo holds up well in the dryer.
Q: Where is the fabric sourced from?
A: All of our fabric is sourced from small Canadian suppliers.
Q: The artwork on the prints is very unique, where is it from?
A: A friend of mine is a water colour painter and digitalizes her paintings and then has it custom printed on the fabric! Pretty neat, eh!
Q: How many sizes does a garment fit for?
A: Our Grow-With-Me cuffs extend to fit for 3 sizes!
Q: Why are your clothes more costly than big box store prices?
A: We are proud to offer you a product that is literally hand crafted in Canada with Canadian sourced materials. Our costs are based on paying our suppliers and seamstresses a fair, living wage. The value is in the quality and longevity of our garments.
Q: How do the Women’s hoodies fit?
A: Our women’s hoodies are designed with a very flattering, hourglass fit and a curved hem. They fit true to size.
Q: How do you put a romper on a baby?
A: The rompers have snaps along the inseam. Open the snaps and put the romper over the child’s head like a hoodie then put their legs in the pant cuffs and close the snaps. The snaps make it very easy for diaper changes.
Q: Do you ship using Canada Post or different couriers?
A: We have accounts with UPS, FedEx and Canada Post. We typically ship with courier services.
Q: Do you stock any brick and mortar shops?
A: We used to have our clothing in several brick and mortar shops but have decided to keep it exclusively online or at markets. If you are local to Spruce Grove we’d love to have you come to our studio and shop in person. Feel free to contact us through IG.
